Digital Content Producer

Bell Media Vancouver

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for presenting a digital user experience that is meaningful and engaging to the listeners, in collaboration with the Programming, Promotions and Sales Department mandates. This includes the following:

* Create and publish approved programming, promotional and sales content for the radio digital properties
* Programming – work with Program Directors to execute the overall vision for the website
* Promotions – assist promotions with the development of contests, events and other promotional elements, as required. For example, graphic image elements for contests, newsletters, and promotional events.
* Sales – Collaborate closely with Digital Account Manager to produce custom high level advertising solutions that deliver strong ROI

* Ensure all branded content goes through the creative review process
* Work closely with all station personnel to disseminate permissions and workload, and assist with the training of staff on the digital properties
* Populate the sites with fresh & updated content, including but not limited to music charts, on-air schedules, talent photos/bios, show information
* Work directly with various content providers and the national content team to acquire and distribute approved content
* Assist with resolving issues on the websites, liaising with the national team to ensure
* All other duties as assigned..

Qualifications:

* Post-secondary degree/diploma in graphic/multimedia design
* Graphic design experience/skill with a hip/contemporary design sensibility
* Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
* Must be proficient in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or Final Cut
* Videographer skills a plus
* Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus
* Demonstrated creativity in engaging users
* Must possess strong short form feature writing skills
* Must be organized and able to handle multiple assignments
* Excellent interpersonal skills and has a positive attitude
* Superior time management skills
* Must be resourceful
* Ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment
* Attention to detail is extremely important and the ability to work within prescribed
