Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be accountable to lead a project team that has the mandate to deliver , high value programs and/or projects intended to enable the operations teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Key Responsibilities;
* Manage a team working on complex / cross functional projects from completing the definition and setup through execution and completion on time and within budget.
* Develop project plans including, WBS, Activity List, Assignment Matrix, Communications and Change Management plan, etc.
* Prepare Business Case, communicate and influence Senior Leaders
* Identify and analyze risk and create a response plan.
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
* Organize and facilitate meetings and work sessions with the various stakeholders groups: Steering committee, working team, extended team, etc.
* Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
* Follow the governance process to obtain appropriate stakeholder sign-off throughout the project life-cycle
* Monitor and control the progression of projects
* Provide status reporting against plan identifying risks and mitigation actions
* Demonstrate Bell leadership attributes on a daily basis
* Other as determined by the type of project
Critical qualifications;
* B.A. in administration, engineering, or related field
* PMP Certification (Preferred)
* 5 – 10 years of project and process management experience and 3 years minimum experience in Managing a team
* Strong leadership and consulting skills including the ability to help define a strategic vision and to motivate cross-functional team to achieve objectives.
* Passion for uncovering business needs, identifying opportunities, and aligning efforts to ensure timely implementation.
* Experience in creating strategic presentations to key stakeholders to obtain approval for financial support.
* Ability to understand complex dynamics of working with multiple stakeholders with divergent interests.
* Proven conflict resolution skills.
* Strong analytical skill, attention to detail and ability to analyze numbers for accuracy and reasonableness
* Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) at all levels of the organization
* Advanced computer skills are essential with an emphasis on Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
* Well organized & able to multi-task
* Interpersonal and negotiating skills: Being able to influence, share direction and obtain teams alignment
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Display high sense of urgency
* Solid understanding of technology and business concepts and language with the ability to express both verbally and in writing
* Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
* Bilingual (English / French)
