The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
The Wireless Campaign & Execution team is seeking a dynamic and strategic Channel Marketing Specialist to flawlessly execute marketing programs, offers and new product/service launches into all retail channels.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Channel Marketing, the ideal candidate has marketing, communications and retail channel experience. In an ever-changing and dynamic sales environment, they need to be flexible, have strong time management skills and be capable of balancing many projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion. They are detail oriented, strategic and analytical with the ability to think outside the box. It’s imperative that the candidate is proactive and continuously seeks to build innovative retail marketing programs to win market share. This high performing individual needs to have demonstrated success with influencing and delivering results with cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flawless and timely execution of new products, services and marketing initiatives in all retail channels.
- Work cross-functionally with campaign, retail channels, product, pricing, marketing communications, channel and IT to develop and execute programs end-to-end
- Sales minded and has experience in analysing data to build recommendations to improve sales trajectories.
- Understands regional differences and executes support elements accordingly.
- Manage channel conflict for offers in branded and The Source stores.
- Co-ordinate the execution of marketing, merchandising planning and product launches in The Source to align to Mobility objectives.
- Define, develop, and execute targeted retail programs and offers to accelerate wireless.
- Manage channel communication content to support execution excellence.
- Summarize various campaign priorities and products into a concise and visually appealing presentation for retail.
- Define measures of success by channel and track results accordingly, altering approach as needed
- Create compelling and strategic marketing presentations.
Critical Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing/channel role (wireless and/or telco an asset).
- Experienced in developing programs, providing recommendations based on results and making decisions.
- Experience managing projects and programs end to end.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with the ability to get things done by influence.
- Presents in front of a group with ease.
- Comfortable working autonomously or as a team member.
- Driven to get things done with an insatiable drive to improve process and build relationships.
- Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate insight and action.
- Creative with the ability to think outside the box when developing concepts, approach and offers .
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
