Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Manager is responsible for a team of approximately 10-15 inside sales professionals located in the Province of Quebec and city of Ottawa. Full management responsibility in hiring and developing the mid market inside sales team. Strong leadership, coaching and sales representation skills are needed in this role. Senior participant in the leadership team to help craft and execute the overall business development plan.
Accountabilities:
* Guide the team toward achieving or surpassing established quota objectives
* Establish your team members’ mandates, objectives and responsibilities
* Assign and re-assign resources based on market, customer, employee and Bell shareholder needs.
* Monthly revenue forecasts updated on a weekly basis at the sales executive level within EOM
* Develop executive relationships with customers & prospects in the business community
* Maintain weekly sales call reports for the entire sales team.
* Analyzes the customers’ needs (services to render, suppliers implicated, operations activities sector implicated, market strategies and potential revenues) and evaluate potential in order to elaborate customer intents. Acts as trusted advisor.
* Ensure that Bell management is involved on an ongoing basis with the management teams of the customers you are responsible for so as to develop long-term, win-win relationships with these customers.
* Oversee the special bid process and establish the business case, including the financing agreement, as required (fixed assets and expenditures).
* With help from partner teams, ensure that your team obtains the products / services (internally or externally) required to deliver a solution
* Create and manage efficient virtual customer teams (pre-sales and after-sales).
* Ensure prompt resolution of any customer problems in order to demonstrate the Bell representative’s sense of responsibility to the customer.
* Manage resource and expense budgets and ensure that the teams observe company policy with respect to expenditures.
* Develop and implement plans aimed at increasing employee satisfaction and achieving Employee Value Index (EVI) objectives.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
* A seasoned sales professional with sales experience in the ICT or Telco industries
* Experience managing a team of sales professionals & achieving sales team quotas
* Experience in managing the sales cycle, including the steps involved in prospecting, qualifying, recommending, signing and implementing complex solutions
* Professional sales training - ( i.e. TAS, Spin Selling, Strategic Selling )
* University degree
* Knowledge of revenue and cost management
* Excellent skills with respect to negotiating, making presentations, conducting analyses and summarizing information
* Strong team spirit and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects
* Experience in matrix management of multiple groups, in order to provide customers with an end-to-end experience
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with partners and customers
* Bilingualism is a prerequisite
