Within the Bell Business Markets Finance group, the financial analyst plays a critical role in financial management and reporting for Large Connectivity Services.
We are looking for a dynamic and responsible self-starter, who is detail-oriented and can work both independently and collaboratively, seeking out solutions and opportunity for process improvements.
The candidate will perform financial analyses, planning and forecasting, and prepare management reports specific to revenues and margin. Outside of the forecasting and reporting cycles, the role requires the ability to identify and develop flexible analysis on areas of interest to support & influence Sales, Marketing and Finance business decisions.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
* Work closely with the business to understand and evaluate key business trends and to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results/KPI’s.
* Provide revenue and margin analysis on customers and products, including adhoc analysis to influence business decisions.
* Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Corporate, Delivery, Pricing) to ensure accurate and relevant data is shared relating to revenues, COGS, and KPI’s (including reporting and forecasting).
* Perform all functions relating to month end analysis including preparing financial management reports for Senior Management.
* Recommend and implement process improvements.
* Dynamic environment with tremendous opportunity for growth and development.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
* Experience managing finance projects, building a plan and executing.
* Excellent analytical, computer and modelling skills particularly in Excel.
* Strong team player & partnering skills.
* Good project management skills.
* Strong problem solving skills & resourceful.
* Strong leadership and communication/presentation skills.
* Bilingual (French and English).
* 3 years of financial/accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
* Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA, CGA).
* Knowledge of BI and SAP.
* Good understanding of revenue recognition principles.
* Flexible schedule.
Working Conditions:
* Ability to efficiently work in virtual teams.
* Availability to work occasional weekends and evenings to meet tight deadlines.
* Fast paced, dynamic environment.
