Responsibilities:
* In collaboration with Assignment Editor, coordinates and dispatches all Camera,
ENG Multitasker and Video Journalist workflow
* Coordinates workflow of Feed & Play and Studio Operations staff
* Maximizes efficiency in order to satisfy operational requirements and effectively use down time
* Helps develop and maintain to high production values
* Manages content of video servers and inventory of archived material
* Coordinates archiving duties and assists where required
* Ensures proper maintenance and inventory of equipment for operational requirements
* Coordinates maintenance of mobile fleet
* Offers training where required
* Operates camera, edits or performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in television production
* Proven abilities in camera, editing and lighting
* Experience leading production teams in a high pressure daily news environment
* Sound decision making abilities, proven leadership skills and strong attention to detail
* Ability to ensure high production values
* Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of iNews or other Newsroom computer software
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Sound editorial judgement an asset
* Experience in a wide variety of production roles an asset
* Bilingual in French and English
