Senior Finance Manager, BRS Business Analytics and Consolidations

The Role:

The Bell Canada Finance team is seeking a motivated Senior Finance Manager with proven finance & leadership skills, who desires to work closely with finance and business leadership teams in a challenging role. The Bell Residential Services generates annual revenue of $4 billion by providing TV, Internet and Home Phone services.

The Senior Manager, BRS Business Analytics and Consolidations, will perform strategic financial analysis to identify opportunities to support BRS growth in the marketplace, while leading the financial consolidations function across the BRS team. The successful candidate will build and maintain collaborative relationships with the Marketing and Finance teams and be comfortable working independently to complete various analyses. The successful candidate must have a minimum 5 years experience in finance/planning and analysis roles and will report to the Finance Director, BRS Consolidations.

Accountabilities:

* Provide business analytics support, including the development of detailed financial models, to support BRS executive decision making in response to changing industry dynamics.
* Perform analysis on quarterly competitor results, and provide insights on company impacts.
* Development of a robust financial model that links industry changes to Bell financials
* Lead the consolidation process for the BRS Finance team by priming the reporting, forecasting, budgeting and long range planning processes.
* Prepare financial presentation materials for executive reviews. Communicate key trends and observations; make recommendations and champion opportunities to improve performance
* Evolve performance management metrics to drive opportunities across the organization
* Demonstrates leadership by developing & mentoring a team of analysts

Critical Competencies:

* University degree with at minimum 5 years of experience in a financial planning environment
* Highly advanced analytical skills with relentless attention to detail
* Superior working knowledge of Excel , and experience in advanced modelling
* Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced / performance-driven environment.
* Exceptional Powerpoint skills and experience in developing executive-level presentations. Ability to see the “Big Picture.”
* Strong communication skills along with the ability to convey financial analysis and metrics to management
* Ability to partner with various cross functional groups and management levels.
* Proven ability to be an effective team leader with strong interpersonal skills
* Telecom experience a strong asset
