Position Overview:



· Overall view of all projects related to a specific customer

· Uses Program view and knowledge to support project-level activities to ensure overall Program goals are met

· Identifies and manages cross-project dependencies

· Provides a billable service to our customers

· Has strategic insight into customer’s business

· Uses strategic knowledge of the customer to create value for Bell

· Provides a broader decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at project level

· Provides consistency and historical background on specific customer’s business needs



Responsibilities:



· Responsible for running a complex and on-going program for a large customer

· Controls and follows up on the interdependencies of the different projects

· Uses knowledge of the program to support critical activities in the projects, to ensure that the overall objectives of the program are achieved

· Responsible for program finances (budget)

· Principal contact to the customer for the multitude of projects within the program

· Works closely with customer to meet customer’s business goals

· Optimizes project delivery schedules and resources based on holistic view of the program

· Acts as prime for project-related major escalations; Identifies and solves project major issues effectively

· Involved in preparing RFP responses (Requests for Proposals) as a SME

· Provides feedback on team member’s performance for the employee’s performance reviews

· Provides feedback directly to Project Managers within the program

· Manages customer expectations across the Program

· Establishes and manage Program governance



Skills:



· Must possess strong business acumen skills

· Exhibits leadership qualities to define requirements for project risks

· Strategic support for the PM in the program

· Excellent writing and communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal and strong leadership skills

· Excellent customer relationship-building skills with the ability to instill confidence in the client

· Excellent presentation skills

· Ability to effectively present ideas and strategies to peers, team members, executives, and clients

· Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Exceptional Project Management Skills

· Strong ability to lead teams effectively by maximizing each team member’s abilities and skills

· Advanced knowledge of products and services

· Ability to deliver complex multi-platform and ICT solutions

· Ability to manage non-standard solutions (i.e. CSAP)

· Viewed as SME

· Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint



Education/Experience:



· Must have 5+ years of complex Project Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and results

· Must have 5+ years of experience in a related business field

· University degree in related discipline or 5+ years related experience

· PMP designation or equivalent is an asset

· PWGSC Secret clearance
