The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
The Deployment Specialist will report directly to the Regional Manager for M2M and Business Solutions and will work closely with all business sales channels, Resellers, Business Product team, Technical Support and Client Care to execute on M2M & Business Solution growth with Bell Mobility customers.

Bell Mobility’s M2M & Business Solutions formed recently to ensure the company remains sharply focused on developing new lines of business and in particular the development of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) markets. The primary responsibility of this department is to increase of revenue from our business clients’ wireless data needs.
Bell Mobility is seeking a Deployment Specialist to focus primarily on our M2M and wireless solutions process support and delivery plan execution. The Deployment Specialist is a key component in the deliverable of all products and service requests by Bell M2M customers and will ensure all M2M deployments go according to plan.
The Deployment Specialist’s primary focus is related to the management of key solution and onboard processes for Bell Mobility including the deliverable of M2M, business solutions and advanced M2M service models to the end customer. This is achieved by using an approach that is process oriented and combines business and technical knowledge while meeting the needs of our customer and ensuring they are integrated in to the Bell’s service model and deployment processes.
The deployment and all M2M related process will further be utilized in both pre-sales and post sales execution to ensure the needs of our clients are met. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in a high profile, dynamic and challenging environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Business Solutions & M2M, the key responsibilities include:
* Executing on on-boarding service process related to M2M & Business Solutions
* Collaboration with M2M & Solution sales consultants to ensure smooth transition to Bell in the delivery phase and managing service level expectations
* Support Existing and new M2M Management Platforms
* Supporting both Corporate Sales and Resellers in presale and post sale capacities
* Working with cross functional teams providing process Improvement recommendations in order to drive efficiencies.
Other responsibilities include;
* Participating in multi-department workshops
* Working closely with our Bell partners to have a clear deployment process built and utilized between Bell and its partners
* Liaison with other teams and business units within Bell to leverage resources required to deliver packaged and customized M2M & Business Solution solutions.
* Technical configuration, set up and order management to oversee execution, billing and delivery to maximize Bell Mobility revenues
* Formulating new process’s as it related to the growth of the business while integrating partners in to Bell’s overall service model
* Working closely with solution managers and Sales teams to resolve any solution or partner-related concerns.
* Collaboration with AE’s and fulfillment to set up service level expectations for data orders per enterprise accounts
* Working with key product and channel partners for configuring, trials and delivery of next generation wireless Internet and data products.
* Training of key contacts on Bell Mobility products, services, processes and applications when required
* Demo device management for all channels of dealers, SME – Face to Face Sales, Resellers
* Manage existing wireless data products, launches and market trials.
* Responsible for the optimization of the process flow from product order to product delivery
* Providing performance tracking and analysis across solution portfolios.
* Assisting our customers with API support and integration support for various M2M platforms.
* Development of XML Scripts
* Basic .Net programming
Requirements, Skills and Abilities
A University degree or post-secondary diploma in computer science with 5 years of previous related experience. It is also expected that this individual has a good understanding of learning new portal (software platform) based tools and development growth to learn more on networks, applications, and mobile devices or other hardware.
The applicant should have telecommunications experience including superior analytical skills, strong customer focus and experience in working with external partners. Strong knowledge of Programming and experience with Project Management is an asset.
In addition, the applicant should have:
* Experience in working in a team environment and resolving issues across multi-discipline functions and/or cross functional teams
* Experience in Business Analysis/Intelligence.
* Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies (i.e. Mobile Devices, M2M devices, Jasper, Ericsson) is an asset.
* Be able to communicate effectively and give presentations to various audiences;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting numerous requests and deadlines;
* Experience working in a sales & marketing environment.;
* Independent and self motivated;
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills;
* Bilingual: French and English would be an asset;
* Ability to apply technology to create business solutions;
* Strong organizational skills, including ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities;
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT;
* Be mobile and have a valid driver’s license.
