The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
The BRS Operations & Compensation Team is responsible for the payment of internal and external commissions for all Bell Residential Services, including Fibe TV, internet and home phone. As Channel Compensation Specialist the successful candidate will manage, end-to-end, any commissions related to the Field Sales team. This position reports to the Manager – BRS Channel Operations & Compensation.
Responsibilities:
* Lead in the development of new Field Sales commission models that will be satisfactory to the Field sales vendors and agents while ensuring that payments align to Bell’s overall objective of driving ARPU
* Work closely with finance to set and manage the commission budget for Field Sales
* Ensure all payments are correct and made in a timely fashion
* Manage payment disputes
* Communicate any changes related to compensation with the Field vendors and internal teams
* Prime any Field compensation related projects
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
* University degree in a business discipline with minimum 5 years experience
* Must be highly skilled at transforming high level business ideas into fully formed financial business cases
* A history of successful project management
* Solid understanding of Canadian Telecommunications Marketplace
* MBA or working towards MBA with completion in the next two years highly preferred
* Strong financial and analytical skills, adept at presentations
* Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong problem solving skills, ability to translate quantitative data into qualitative analysis
* Good time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
* Detail oriented individual with ability to prioritize responsibilities
* Customer focused, works well with all levels of management
* Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop successful business relationships with peers in various departments
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a complex and fast paced environment.
