Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The Solution Architect role is responsible for the overall end to end architecture and design for our clients.
The position is a key member of our Engineering Management Office and will serve as the overall technical authority for the solution. They will draw expertise from multiple technical domains including network, server, storage, security, ICAM, ITSM etc.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain master architecture documentation & specification
* Build and manage processes to interface with technical domain specialists to understand issues and impacts
* Review requests for changes and serve as project technical approver
* Work with project team members on detailed design documentation
* Interface with vendors for pricing, orders etc
* Participate in internal, partner and customer design sessions
* Review and approve all records of decision related to architecture
* Serve as technical authority for all change requests
Requirements:
* Deep mail/messaging experience with min 10 years experience in large Microsoft Exchange environments
* Microsoft Hyper V, Windows 2012 and Active Directory exposure
* Strong DNS knowledge
* Enterprise IT project experience preferably with federal government
* Appreciation for the design / deployment of Identity, Credential and Access Management Solution
* Understanding of authentication solutions using basic and certificate based authentication
* Understanding of delegated administration models
* Understanding workflow / IT process automation
* Understanding of credential life-cycle management
* Understanding of policy engines and implementation of security policies
* Experience in designing and operating mission critical, high availability IT environments
* Data centre infrastructure experience in server, storage and network systems
* Strong security background including firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection and knowledge of ITSG standards
* Mail migration/transition experience
* Comfort in very fast paced, demanding project environment
* Ability to multi-task
* Strong communications; both verbal and written
* Highly efficient and productive
* ITIL background preferred
* Secret clearance mandatory
