The Field Services team thrives on providing installation and repair services for business and residential customers using the latest technology, including Fibre, Optical Ethernet, IPVPN.

 

 

Name and description of the hiring department:

The Regional Resolution Team includes members of the Control Center and the field support teams which include the Assignment and Test Centers (voice and cables). The evening-night team is the mandate to take over for most of our dispatch teams in an effort to ensure the regular and urgent dispatch after regular hours including evening and nights both during the week and weekends and holidays

 

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Manages emergency dispatch and calls for all technologies including Voice, Data, Lan, Mega Lan, Cable, Outright sales for the territories of Bell Quebec and Bell West
  • Manages and coordinates responses between our different stakeholders
  • Perform escalations when necessary
  • Complete the technicians tracking using FWFM and a web application after normal hours Escalate if necessary
  • Follow the services indicators on every ticket to make sure the time repair objective is met
  • Escalade to the field services manager when faced with a problem with a difficult dispatch
  • Ensure a constant answer on the queue
  • Manage the « SPACS » alarms
  • Constant communication with the technicians
  • Produce various reports

 

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the external network

  • Strong capacity to manage various priorities at the same time
  • Proactive and not afraid to take calculated risk
  • Leadership  and quick decision making
  • French 5-5-5 : Fluent in the language with no significant limitation
  • English 3-3-3 : Working ability to carry out normal business in the language


Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of the following systems : FWFM, Tim NG, Bcris, SGE, GDE, FSOS, Action
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage Exception


Working Conditions:

  • Possibility of five days par week
  • Sunday to Saturday between 4 :30 PM to 7 :30 AM. 
  • 7/24 environment
