Salary: Group B, Unifor, Local 819M. Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 25 to 35 hours per week
Responsibilities: Bell Media Radio Winnipeg seeks a responsible, self-motivated individual to assist the production department with commercial and station audio for our Winnipeg, Brandon and Regina properties.
Specific Duties include:
• Assist in voicing, editing and loading audio productions.
• Loading all “out of house” ads, shows and features.
• Download and archive audio from external sources.
• Execute the end of day log validation and troubleshoot errors.
• Other duties as required
• Must be available Monday to Friday 2pm to 8pm. There may also be times during vacation relief when the shift will be 9am to 5pm.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of digital audio editing software such as Pro Tools or Adobe Audition.
• Completion of a creative communications program, broadcast program, audio production program, or experience working at a radio station as a producer.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Windows.
• Highly motivated, conscientious and responsible – a self starter who is detailed oriented and can work with limited supervision.
• Voicing and copywriting experience and knowledge of Wide Orbit Automation would be an asset.
