A key pillar of the Bell Let’s Talk mental health initiative, the workplace health team is dedicated to leading by example and collaborating with corporate Canada, the health care community and significant internal stakeholders to find the best ways to promote and support good mental health in the workplace.
This is a temporary (14 months), full-time employment opportunity within the Human Resources department. The Human Resources team plays a key role in helping Bell achieve its business objectives by enhancing organizational efficiency through delivering competitive employee programs, policies and processes.
Key responsibilities
The Consultant – Workplace health will mainly be responsible for the planning, development and scheduling of activities related to:
- Ongoing management of the mental health training program for team leaders, including participating in the development of new modules.
- Coordination of the quarterly mental health education events and all internal communication activities.
- Leading the coordination of team members events for Bell’s 3 main mental health awareness campaigns: Bell Let’s Day, Mental Health Week and Mental Illness Awareness Week.
- Participate in the development of documents, policies, guides and processes that support a mentally healthy work environment
- Maintain appropriate reports and metrics
Critical competencies:
- Passion for health promotion, specifically for mental health related activities
- Strong communications skills, oral and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent project management capabilities;
- Strong ability to understand business priorities, issues and people impacts;
- Demonstrated ability to create and build multiple partnerships;
- Proven Leadership and business acumen
- A self-starter who can effectively operate both within a team and autonomously
Preferred competencies:
- Bilingual; Spoken and written 5/5 (French & English)
Qualifications
- University Degree in Human Resources or other relevant discipline;
- 3+ years experience in Human Resources or other relevant function;
- Must have a strong results orientation and a track record of execution
