SUN FM/EZ Rock in Penticton is looking for its next on-air star!
We are looking for an extremely energetic, community minded, personality to fill a swing position! You’ll work and play in the hottest city for summer and winter adventures, unbelievable weather all while creating radio magic with a great team on and off the air!
Bell Media Penticton is your ticket into the driver’s seat of your new career with Canada’s leading Broadcaster.
Responsibilities:
- Tuesday to Saturday shift with regular voice tracks.
- Fill in doing live shows SUN FM and our EZ Rock stations in the South Okanagan.
- You’ll excel at show prep!
- You’ll love the spot light and excel in Remote broadcasts and station appearances!
- Regular production shift and feature production.
- Fill in on merging logs and music recon.
- Downloading weekend programming.
Skill Requirements
- A motivated self-starter.
- Someone who knows there’s no “I” in Team
- Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal) and creativity comes naturally
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- You’ll have post-secondary education in broadcasting, or related experience.
- At least 3 years on-air experience
- Knowledge of Maestro and Operation of broadcast console definitely an asset.
- A valid class 5 BC driver’s license (or equivalent).
- Strong references
