The Project Executive provides insight and strategic guidance that improves the success of the project portfolio. This insight combines business acumen, risk management and executive level perspective into project decisions

Main Areas of Responsibilities Would Include:

* Providing overall management of a group of assigned projects
* Championing the use of the Project Management methodology in performing Senior Program management duties and acts as a mentor on other projects
* Managing highly visible projects across functional groups within BBM for highly complex projects
* Ensuring corporate objectives and business strategies are aligned and supported by our business plan
* The Project Executive may be called upon to join large projects or programs at risk when Executive escalations are frequent

Additional Responsibilities:

* Makes major strategy decisions for Risk Management, Quality Management, and Project Governance
* Responsible for initiating and monitoring complex programs and projects
* Implementing Strategies for Scope Management to Contract and Client Business Objectives
* Provides strategies to address project complexities and guide Project Management decisions during the implementation phases
* Provides strategies to address project complexities and guides Project Management decisions during the implementation phase
* Acts as Single Point of Contact for the Client and Bell Executive on projects within their mandate
* Provides a Bell decision-making capacity closely aligned with the Client’s Executive
* Accountable for the financials of the Program and associated reporting
* Assists Sales with pre-sales efforts including the preparation of Statements of Work, proposals, contracts, estimates, requirements analysis, technical audits and client relationship management
* Manages the efforts of large, inter-disciplinary teams and organizes available resources effectively
* Ensures programs/projects assigned are delivered on time, on scope, on budget
* Responsible for communication management.(i.e. preparation of project, client and executive reports)
* Prepares and contributes to client presentations concerning project scope, timeline, activities, issues, budget and progress as required
* Manages client expectations
* Enforces change management procedures to manage scope creep
* Closely monitors timelines and project budget to ensure adherence to approved project plans. Variances to the plan will be documented, reported and escalated as required
* Identifies and help resolve cross-project dependencies and issues
* Completes and coordinates complex technical, system and process audits on client and internal engagements
* Interview and select third party vendors and contractors as required.
* Manage the work efforts and budgets provided for third party providers and consultants.
* Facilitates team meetings to communicate progress, status, issues, assignments, and urgency
* Performs and documents post-project reviews with assistance from senior project management or project sponsors
* Provides feedback on team member’s performance on a project for the employee’s performance reviews
* Performs Risk assessment reviews on selected projects
* Works closely with senior resources and resources from other departments to ensure that projects are reported accurately
* Acts as a mentor/coach to team resources
* Establishes Risk, Scope and Quality strategies with reduced involvement during the implementation and Monitoring phases of the Project

Experience:

* Must have 8+ years of Project Management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and results
* Must have 10+ years of related Business experience
* Expert knowledge of the Project Management Institute’s approach to Project Management and demonstrated successful completion of an advanced Project Management course
* Expert knowledge of best practices in the field of Project Management
* University degree in related discipline or 5+ years related experience. MBA would be an asset
* PMP Designation or equivalent required if experience in Project Management is less than 8 years

* Demonstrated Strategic agility
* Must be politically savvy
