Bell Media is looking for a Bi-lingual Product Manager for its Distribution Services in the Digital Products team that includes Video OnDemand, Digital platforms and other 3rd party distribution platforms for all Bell Media brands.
This position works closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Bell Media maximizes its presence on all available non-linear distribution platforms and continuously adds value to the end-user and delivers on the revenue objectives of Bell Media.
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the Television industry and emerging technological trends, with strong project management skills. The candidate must possess the ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly, and be able to translate these technologies into successful programs and content.
Responsibilities:


• Project manage product launches that leverage the features and benefits of 3rd party distribution partners while delivering on Bell Media brands’ business objectives.
• Work closely with Cross-functional departments across Bell Media English and French brands to implement product and content strategies.
• Work with the Brand and content teams to maximize penetration and usage of 3rd party distribution platforms.
• Track and analyze results to uncover new opportunities or determine whether programs should be modified or repeated.
• Support the creation of great user-experience across platforms and services while balancing internal and external expectations.

 

Skill Requirements
• Must possess a University degree, preferably in Marketing or Business. 
• Written and spoken communication skills in both French and English, including excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrated track record in product marketing programs and project management. PMP certification would be an asset.
• Ability to work in a fluid environment that involves managing varied responsibilities, and multiple priorities.
• A strong eye for detail and a strong team player who can ensure that commitments and deliverables are met on time.
• Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
• Minimum 5-10 years of product marketing experience, preferably in the television or digital industry.
