The role:

The Specialist, Sales Database Management, will act as the central data management support prime within the Sales Optimization team. This role comprises gathering, managing data from a variety of sources, in close collaboration with BBM’s Business Intelligence teams, finance and regional sales teams within the Mid and Large Market organization for the purpose of planning and managing sales performance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Data architecture based on BBM Sales performance management architecture and KPIs
  • Develop Excel (VBA) tools through SQL connections
  • Standardize information and manipulate data sources
  • Data extraction, organization, integrity and accuracy
  • Build data sets to support planning + reporting actual results
  • Demonstrated experience working with large databases and complex data structures
  • Ad-hoc data deliverables to provide insight on sales performance and sales cycle efficiency
  • Support diagnostic root cause analysis with queries

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • B.A. in administration, engineering, finance, or quantitative discipline
  • Expert level in Excel & VBA/ACCESS  – ability to produce high standard and actionable reports to be used by all clients
  • Excellent skills in SQL – support, develop and maintain existing databases
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Deadline driven with excellent project and time management skills
  • Flexible and able to tackle duties outside of their usual scope of work when called upon

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bilingual, French and English (spoken and written) is an asset
