Role
The L&D Training Coordinator assists in all aspects of training development and deployment. Tasks include, preparing presentations (I would not put this as a first point if at all), scheduling training, locating and reserving training rooms, ordering training supplies and any other requirement for running a training program. The L&D coordinator is responsible for maintaining existing training documents and processes.
Key responsibilities
- Arranging training venues (classroom and on-site,) instructors, materials, and equipment
- Coordinate training functions by sending invites, scheduling rooms, communicating to audiences
- Receive and respond to requests for information via phone, e-mail, print and other sources regarding training programs
- Publishes content to the training portal or LMS
- Maintain a training schedule for all programs
- Manage data on system for accurate scheduling, tracking and reporting of employee learning activities
- Complete training requests: initiate and implement logistics, purchase order requisitions and communications
- Manage course materials
- Maintain inventory of materials, library resources and equipment
- Create/maintain client satisfaction statistical reports of training metrics
- Provide recommendations to learning requests
- Assist in preparing communications for learning and development group
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in an HR/Learning and Development/Administrative position
- Fluency in French and English both oral and written
- Self-sufficient, takes the initiative, disciplined
- Creative spirit, flexibility, teamwork, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize and propose solutions
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with a passion for results
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Work Condition:
- Position Type: Clerical
- Fulltime position 37.5 hours per week. Availability for occasional off-normal hours to complete assignments will be required.
- Internship duration: 8 months starting in April
