The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
The role will provide administration/back-up sales support for SRDU (Satellite Relay Distribution Undertaking) Sales. The position requires a strong command of the English and French language – both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
* Contract management which includes creating a tracking system/library for signal launch and end dates
* Respond to client sales inquiries which may include issuing signal and equipment quotations, pricing and programming related information
* Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments, contracts, amendments, reconciliations
* Maintain master client list for communications
* Track, process and file invoices/expenses
* Liaison between technology departments to ensure SRDU sales activations are completed, customer information database is updated
* Create and update marketing bulletins to clients
* Create programming comparisons for sales opportunities
* Overall assistance with the goal of increasing revenues
Related experience:
* Minimum 2 to 5 Years experience in a broadcasting environment on the sales/customer service side
Skills and knowledge:
* Bilingual preferred
* A strong understanding of the Canadian broadcasting industry gained through several years experience
* Superior writing skills in both English and French
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
* Extremely strong time-management skills, attention to detail and motivation
* Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
* The ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization and independently
* Advanced computer literacy with exceptional skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Organization and attention to detail are a must
* Broadcasting/technical experience an asset
Education requirements:
* A college / university degree preferred
