Position: Motion Graphic Designer (On-Air) – 2 positions available

Location: 9 Channel Nine Court, Scarborough, ON

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for extremely talented and proficient Motion Graphic Designers. As one of the world’s leading entertainment companies, our pace is fast and exciting. We design for brands like: CTV, TSN, Discovery Channel and many more.
Reporting to the Design Creative Director, you must have at least 4 years of solid experience working in a professional design environment, designing and creating broadcast quality motion graphics for air. You will work on network branding, promo packaging and show packaging.
- Conceptualize and develop innovative animated graphics for new original content, promos, and sales support video solutions based on creative briefs and marketing strategies.
- Present creative concepts both internally and externally.
- Create detailed storyboards and animation.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other team members in design, promotions and production.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Design/Art Certification; Bachelor of Arts preferred.
- Strong design skills with the ability to produce conceptual ideas quickly along with advanced 2D and 3D animation skills.
- 5+ years’ experience in creating motion graphics.
- 4+ years’ experience of in-depth understanding of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- 4+ years’ experience with Cinema 4D is required.
- A sound grasp of post-production processes.
- A good working knowledge of Mac OSX and digital workflows.
- A strong ability to work to specification and tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand brand standards and the skill set needed to apply them to all projects.
- Candidates must be dedicated and have a strong work ethic.
- Provide a comprehensive show-reel that demonstrates the above.
- Experience in a broadcast environment would be an asset.
