The HR Metrics Team plays an integral role in operational reporting, data definition and standardization, data mining, advanced analysis as well as predictive modeling.
Under the supervision of the Sr Manager, Workforce Analytics & HR reporting, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be called to analyze employee data, automate business intelligence processes and provide analytical insight to support optimal people decisions and strategic planning. The Business Intelligence Analyst would also be involved in the management, implementation and optimization of BI systems.

Key responsibilities:
Plan, organize and perform HR analytics:
- Collaborate with stakeholders on understanding underlying people opportunities, validating assumptions, ensuring applicability and determining desired outcomes
- Translate business requirements into efficient BI solutions
- Rationalize new data requirements to avoid data/reports duplication
- Work with large data volumes efficiently by performing data mining, forecasting, advanced analysis and predictive analytics techniques on employee data
- Interpret results and communicate insights through reports / presentations
- Deliver within agreed-upon timelines on key projects and data strategies that directly support key people drivers
- Collaborate with HR business partners to identify opportunities to apply new HR analytics insights to various area of the organization
Participate, plan, organize and implement new BI processes and solutions:
- Introduce new technological solutions to drive sophisticated BI processes, in collaboration with Bell’s IT team
- Take part in defining the overall data integration architecture
- Explore new sources of information to expand insight opportunities
- Enforce and improve standards around documentation, analytics programming language and overall quality of deliverables
- Maintain and expand your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities
Required Competencies:
You have a Bachelors degree, or Masters, in a discipline such as:
- Business analytics / business intelligence
- Applied math / statistics
- Computer science
- Applied science / engineering
- Economics / econometrics
- Management science / operations research
- Or related area
You have 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics or related disciplines, more specifically:
- Experience with BI and data warehouse technologies such as SAP ECC, SAP Business Warehouse, BEx Query and/or SQL Server
- Experience with the development and maintenance of reporting, visualization and analytics tools such as SAP Business Objects, SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics module and/or other similar tools
- Experience with query languages such as SQL Reporting Services and/or SAS
- You have strong knowledge in predictive modeling algorithms
- You are highly analytical and understand the principles of working with large and complex data sets
- You have the ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations on key HR demographic drivers
- You have strong MS Excel skills and solid MS PowerPoint skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset in Ontario and a requirement in Quebec

- You are able to manage multiple projects and priorities
- A demonstrable history of collaboration, communication skills and business acumen
