Bell PTT is the most advanced and robust carrier grade Push-to-talk service launched globally, leveraging Bell’s 4G HSPA+ and LTE network covering 97% of Canada’s population. Bell Mobility Inc. was first to launch a 4G Push-to-talk service in North America.
The role:
As a Bell PTT Sales Specialist you will be leading the drive to accelerate Bell PTT customer adoption within the Business to Business B2B market.
This is a great opportunity for an assertive technical sales professional to be a part of one of the strongest sales teams within Bell in Western Canada. This role is focused on prospecting, qualifying, collaborating, presenting and forecasting new PTT opportunities. This role is responsible for discovering and developing new innovative strategies to achieve Bell’s national PTT goals.
The Bell PTT Sales Specialist works closely with our B2B sales channel, and provides pre-sales strategy, sales-cycle cooperation, and deployment project execution. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in a high profile, dynamic and challenging environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Developing prospecting strategies to deliver new PTT opportunities into the sales funnel
- Qualifying opportunities for Bell PTT
- Collaborating with B2B teams on sales cycles as the Bell PTT technical expert
- Delivering a customized Bell PTT presentation solving the prospect’s identified needs
- Articulating strong messages to one or more C-Level executives
- Managing a PTT sales funnel, and forecasting PTT results
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide internal PTT training support to B2B teams
- Interface with PTT hardware and accessory vendors for assistance
- Liaison with internal teams such as PTT product management and marketing
- Coordinate PTT responses for RFPs
- Represent Bell at various Industry and Association events, facilitate and manage customer seminars and workshops
Critical qualifications / competencies:
- Demonstrated 3- 5 years experience in B2B sales consultant or technical sales
- Instinctively comfortable with prospecting new business through research and networking
- Advanced understanding of wireless data solutions including networks, applications, and integration requirements for mobile devices or other hardware
- Ability to translate technical issues into business benefits as well as conduct in depth technical discussions
- Be able efficiently communicate and give presentations to various audiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work collaboratively with virtual and multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce.com or other CRM
- Independent and self motivated
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities
- Be mobile and have a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Radio or iDEN sales experience
