The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

As a member of the Marketing Communications team, you will act as a project manager with the overall responsibility of developing and executing marketing communications campaigns.  The primary focus will be on retail and acquisition campaigns for multiple product portfolios across all Bell Residential Services (TV, Internet, Home phone) to help business units meet objectives and the communications team build the brand.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Understand scope and nature of all marketing and communications requirements
  • Understand retail environment – both branded and indirect channels
  • Partner with agencies, marketing team, legal team, merchandising, printers/vendors and other retail/field partners in development of in-store pieces and door-to-door collaterals.
  • Work with marketing to understand quarterly objectives and build strategic communication briefs to help achieve objectives.
  • Develop agency briefs and communication plans
  • Execute communication tactics including, but not limited to: posters, packaging, digital signage,  pricing charts, radio scripts, product manuals, brochures, flyers, sales sheets, etc.)
  • Edit content to ensure the message is clear, customer-friendly and accurate
  • Familiar with developing numerous versions of marcom pieces based on content and segmentation matrices
  • Work with agency and marketing to track campaigns and provide post campaign analysis to continually improve communication strategies
  • Manage communications budget for each portfolio
  • Other activities as necessary to support marketing function
  • Champion the Bell brand standards

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Business and/or Marketing
  • At least 5 years experience in marketing communications
  • Experience working with creative and retail communications
  • Experience in managing advertising/direct marketing agency relationships
  • At least 5 years project management experience
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail for flawless execution
  • Sound creative judgment
  • Excellent leadership and positive work attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Writer, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have excellent time management skills and flexible to work overtime in a fast-paced environment
