Reporting to the Director, Market Analysis & Intelligence you will have an opportunity to engage groups across all levels of the Bell group of companies
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Client management and project management to ensure flow through of analytics to market execution
- Drive the analytics team in various initiatives including channel optimization, analyzing customer segmentation strategies, competitiveness, competitor performance, granular internal/external data and industry reports to determine short and long term strategies
- Utilize data sources to conceptualize, develop and maintain various statistical models
- Work with and present to all levels of management
- Maintain and expand effective working relationships with key stakeholders of other Bell business units and external parties
- Work closely with Director on key analytic strategies
- Motivate, manage and provide mentorship to other team members on career development goals and analytical skills
- Review and assess industry performance including market sizing, competitive nature, growth fundamentals, and operating models
- Explore and gather additional external and internal data sources (traditional and non-traditional) relevant to driving deeper and actionable analytics
- Support intelligence gathering efforts across various platforms
Critical Qualifications / Competencies
- Possess 5 years of experience in Marketing Analysis or a similar role within the telecommunications sector
- Bachelors degree, Masters or equivalent work experience, in a discipline such as: BI, applied math, applied science / engineering, economics/econometrics, or related area.
- An individual who is highly analytical and who understand the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
- Possesses an ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations
- Solid competence in analysis and modelling with the ability to identify and translate those issues into business decisions and recommendations
- Experience with data systems such as SQL Server, Teradata, SAS or others
- Experience in developing complex statistical model
- Experience in presenting findings to a senior-level audience
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies
- Experience in Industry Intelligence and business strategy
- Self starter with a thirst for continued growth
- Working knowledge of internal databases (SAS, SQL, EIA, EDW, ACAP)
