The Role:

The Project Executive provides insight and strategic guidance that improves the success of the project portfolio. This insight combines business acumen, risk management and executive level perspective into project decisions

 

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage highly visible projects across functional groups within BBM for highly complex projects
  • Provide leadership to large Enterprise programs and be the main interface to the client senior executives and Bell executives
  • Responsible for  decisions on Risk Management, Quality Management, and Project Governance
  • Provide strategies to address project complexities and guide Project Management decisions during the implementation phases
  • Ensure corporate objectives and business strategies are aligned and supported by Bell’s business plan
  • Leverage Project Management methodology in performing Senior Program management duties and acts as a mentor on other projects  
  • Ensure programs/projects assigned are delivered on time, on scope, on budget
  • Implement strategies for Scope Management to Contract and Client Business Objectives
  • Accountable for the financials of the Program and associated reporting
  • Assists Sales with pre-sales efforts including the preparation of Statements of Work, proposals, contracts, estimates, requirements analysis, technical audits and client relationship management

 

Critical Competencies:

  • Must have 8+  years of Enterprise  Project Management experience
  • Must have operated within a Project executive or Project Director capacity within telecommunications or a large enterprise financial institution for  at least 5 years on transformational initiatives (Crossing over multiple lines of business)
  • Experienced managing senior stakeholders at the VP and EVP level.
  • Possess a general understanding of telecommunications technologies and service offerings within the B2B enterprise environment
  • PMP Designation or equivalent required if experience in Project Management is less than 8 years
  • Possess exceptional presentation skills
  • Possess a strong ability to navigate through political channels while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with peers and cross functional teams in order to deliver on client expectations
  • Ability to manage in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
