Temporary full-time position (1 year contract)
Responsibilities:
- Book and verify sales schedules, send them to the respected traffic teams
- Revise orders due to NA replacements, revisions, shifts, program changes
- Communicate changes with advertisers/agencies and negotiate make goods
- Send confirmations to client/agency
- Investigate discrepancies
- Monitor performance of campaigns; administer pre-compensation, complete post analyses and schedule post-compensation as necessary.
- Answer agency and traffic inquiries (i.e. missing contracts/material/instructions)
- Assist in the co-ordination and hosting of presentations at agencies with Account Managers
- Provide back-up for other Sales Coordinators during vacation time
- Assist in building submissions in the proposal system
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in Broadcast Sales
- Must be able to work with tight deadlines and last minute revisions
- Takes initiative with strong organizational skills, plus the ability to work quickly and accurately in an independent position
- Must be eager to learn, flexible, and willing to help co-workers where required
- Good attitude and works well under pressure
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and decision making skill required
- Able to work overtime during busy periods
- Knowledge of French is a definite asset
