Account Executive, Sales (Kingston, ON, CA)

Corporate Groups offers best practice services to support the organization, including Finance, Legal & Regulatory, Brand, Corporate Services – including HR, Communications, Real Estate, Security and Procurement & Value Creation.

 

Responsibilities: 
•Maintain a large portfolio of locally based advertisers to meet or exceed sales quotas with a focus on generating new business
•Provide quality customer service with a focus on client retention through regular and systematic contact with all active and potential clientele
•Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals which include appropriate research data
•Attend and participate in Sales meetings, liaise effectively and build positive relationships with all Sales Support functions including Creative Services, Traffic and  Accounting
•Assist the station in maintaining and/or increasing its community presence by becoming actively involved in the community
•Aid in the collection of overdue accounts, complete and submit all necessary paperwork, and other duties as required

 

Qualifications:
•A minimum of 8 years of outside (business to business) sales experience.  Media sales experience or knowledge of the industry an asset
•Experience in sourcing clients, networking and cold calling for new business required
•Able to build and present commercial ideas relative to clients business
•Excellent interpersonal skills, articulate and must promote a professional corporate image
•Self motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed
•Able to manage a territory and client records
•Dedication to applying high ethical standards in business
•Practical computer knowledge of Microsoft Office an asset
•Applicant must possess a valid G Class driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. The ability to travel within our designated sales territory (Kingston – Eastern Ontario) is required
