Imagine having the opportunity to develop new media opportunities for the innovative OOH division of Canada’s leading Telecommunications company!
The Role:
To develop new media opportunities for our OOH business in English Canada including RFP’s, acquisitions, partnerships and prime locations to manage the company’s leases and leasing activity; to represent the company at various industry organizations and to contribute to the management of the company daily and through its Executive Committee.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prime developer of new business opportunities
- Manage the Real Estate team on a daily basis and ensure that leasing activities deliver the best possible network inventory at the most efficient rates
- Represent the company at OOH organizations as required
- Liaise with sales, finance, legal and operations to ensure proper co-ordination of business activities
- Develop relationships within the advertising business
- Develop relationships with our partners in the broadest sense
Critical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the out of home (OOH) business
- 10+ yrs experience in media and/or advertising sales
- Ability to find new business opportunities, develop relationships, manage process and close deals
- Ability to articulate and advocate for the company’s position with a variety of groups including, legal and new business teams, clients, prospective partners and the industry generally
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to act as the Corporate spokesperson
- Strong leadership and communication skills
