Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the Bell Business Market Sales teams on various workflow processes, process improvements, productivity and system enhancements for tools used by our Sales teams.
Accountabilities include:
- Lead process design and documentation for processes related to Sales tools enabling systems, product or marketing project implementations
- Analyzing and validating the impacts of system, functional or process changes.
- Provide input to, and collaborate with, business planners on financial and productivity benefits and business case development
- Lead sessions with partners to facilitate project status reviews and governance; co-ordinate the project by arranging project meetings, producing status documentation and meeting minutes and informing team members of decisions made.
- Collaborate with Bell IT partners to facilitate and elicit project requirements and scope definition
- Identify, prioritize and manage ongoing operational issues and key deliverables
- Subject Matter Expert and key point of contact to provide advice and counsel on operational impacts as they relate to the project.
- Lead project components such as, business process and change management documentation, communication plans, action registers and logs
- Define and execute end user acceptance testing. Ensure user satisfaction and support during the user acceptance testing process.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- The successful candidate must have the following knowledge and skills:
- Proven business analysis skills and experience
- Experience in the planning cycle and project approval process
- Excellent analytical, presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) ; ability to listen, understand and respond appropriately and effectively.
- Ability to produce high quality documents (process, Sales bulletins and executive summaries).
- Ability to define conceptual solutions by documenting current and future mode of operations. (CMO vs FMO) and develop process maps.
- Ability to define business requirements that describe the solution and mode of operations.
- Facilitate requirements gathering – the ability to pull together experts to get the right information
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas in a simple understandable format
- Strong ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action
- Demonstrated ability to learn both complex technical concepts and end to end business work flow
- Practical knowledge of governance concepts associated with the contracting process and SOx controls.
- Have the skills to influence the work team for the alignment differences in ideas or solutions
- Strong ability to express point of view, to negotiate and manage risks
- Ability to work effectively in virtual teams, to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- High degree of understanding of systems and tools utilized by BBM Sales and sales support teams (Oracle/ Siebel and Sharepoint)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- BA Certification
- Project management experience
- University or college degree
- Strong understanding and experience with change management principles
- Bilingualism English and French
- Previous exposure and understanding of Bell’s IT Architecture
- Experience in computer programming (SQL/PL, base de données Oracle/Siebel, Teradata, Business objects) an asset
- 1-2 years relevant job experience
