The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic business-oriented leader with a proven relationship track record and creative negotiation skills. This service-oriented manager will work independently and within the Partnership team to obtain various forms of agreements and marketing enablers, as well as to devise and execute tactics to increase Bell service penetration in residential locations.
The manager will build relationships and negotiate contracts with major residential high-and low-rise developers, condos, building owners and home Builders in the Greater Toronto Area.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Prospects, identifies, develops and maintains Partnerships with multi-billion dollar corporations.
* Negotiates Marketing and Access agreements for Home Phone, TV, Internet and other services.
* Obtains Purchaser Lists and/or permission for Bell to participate in consumer-facing events.
* Responsible for maintaining partnerships end-to-end from initial negotiation to first occupancy.
* Conducts formal and informal presentations to senior executives, both internally and in partner corporations.
* Manages the sales process through to service implementation and customer satisfaction.
* Manages client issues and escalations, including business needs at site.
* Creates and updates individual funnel of Partnership activities, including negotiations, contract execution, first occupancy dates and relationship management events (e.g. hosting).
* Works in a team environment to contribute to the overall goals of the department.
* Works with the larger BRS and Bell Canada teams to address client issues.
* May be required to also negotiate agreements with existing MDU’s or to negotiate mixed-use agreements for combined commercial and residential buildings.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of negotiation experience in the high or low rise residential developer market (or equivalent)
* Experience in complex contract negotiation
* Track-record of excellent service and proven relationship skills
* Action-oriented, a demonstrated ability to deliver results
* Extensive knowledge of the MDU construction industry and ideally, general fibre-optic technology requirements for the provisioning of new construction sites
Skills/Abilities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with excellent presentation skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a dynamic and ever-changing business
* Team Player – understands the importance of working independently and providing support to the team
* Strong negotiation experience
* Adaptable - adjusts quickly to changing priorities and copes well with complexity
* Exceptional time management and organizational skills
* Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and PowerPoint software as well as video apps for tablet and handset demonstrations to partners
