Name and description of the hiring department:
The ADI team is part of the Access Network team and overseas deployment of the outside plant based on work plans and engineering specifications in order to provide customers with state-of-the-art technology.
Upon receipt of plans and specifications, ADI's work involves analyzing them and tracking the information specific to customers and equipment in order to update the various databases.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
- Manage databases and update the specific components of the access network.
- Analyze work plans or any other specifications.
- Ensure the feasibility of the request (equipment capacity, customer address, etc.).
- Ensure the integrity of various databases.
- Create and update specialized equipment reports.
- Settle discrepancies between the systems to ensure quality service for customers.
- Update systems upon project completion.
- Manage, prioritize and process requests to meet deadlines and customer dates.
- Contact various stakeholders to obtain the required data.
- Handle unusual or complex situations.
- Collect required information and provide solutions.
- Ensure rigorous and close monitoring of requests on a daily basis.
- Participate in, and/or endorse, improving work methods and/or processes.
- Ensure quality in all aspects of the work.
- Adapt to frequent changes in priorities.
- Answer internal and external stakeholder questions.
- Detect and correct simple and complex anomalies.
Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
- Excellent IT knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of popular software: Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate)
- Demonstrate judgment to anticipate and resolve problems, and take the necessary risks
- Ability to handle constantly evolving priorities and emergencies
- Well-honed organizational and priority-management skills
- Effective communicator (frequent discussions with different groups)

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
- Experience with databases (data entry)
- Knowledge of telecommunication networks and telephony
- Knowledge of IPAIRS, ACCESS, BCRIS and SAP P50
- Ability to make connections between the various systems (IPAIRS, ACCESS, etc.)
- English: 3-3-3 would be an asset
