Location: CTV Saskatoon or CTV Regina
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
• Participating in the creation, repurposing and editing of content for CTV Saskatchewan websites including news content, program news, related links, photos and other content.
• Working closely with CTV News, Sales and Promotions departments to extend general broadcast content on the site and extend web-based content into the TV environment.
• Contribute to the creation of ad units, banners and contests
• Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Three years’ experience at a media website
• An undergraduate degree or diploma in Graphic/Multimedia Design or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, XML, JavaScript, action script
• Experienced in designing website templates and working with Photoshop, Flash etc. is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience working with and customizing content management systems
• Familiar with current web trends and able to integrate social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter etc.) in websites
• Clear and concise writing skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and creative. Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain creativity in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well individually and/or in a team.
