Our Network team plans, designs, builds and operates Bell’s multi-billion dollar networks, including the continued expansion of our fibre optic network, HSPA+ and LTE — Canada’s largest and fastest wireless network.

Temporary 8 months ( April - December)
Role
This person will be part of the Network PMO team and responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies that inform and educate employees, help inspire engagement and drive business results. Act as communications expert, providing a comprehensive understanding of the internal audience, various communication channels available and best practices to ensure key messages are being delivered effectively and consistently. Routinely evaluate programs and their success metrics and adjust plans accordingly.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between Human Resources and Corporate Communications and align communications support across key functional areas
- Develop and implement Network-wide internal communication strategies, tactics and materials to support goals and objectives, and engage employees
- Work with internal teams to develop, maintain and update the VP internal intranet sites
- Source content and write material for all employee communications including, but not limited to, news/announcements, event communications, Network newsletter, etc
- Provide internal communication advice and counsel to the management and develop materials when appropriate
- Determine and implement the most effective, efficient and impactful methods and channels to achieve communication objectives
- Support key Network events with internal/external communications to achieve objectives
- Support and promote Network Recognition Program
- Support the Training team by updating materials and promoting training opportunities
- Measure / monitor communications plans to determine effectiveness
- Assist with quarterly results development
- Manage all projects within a defined budget
- Other special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the internal communications field
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related
- Fluency in French and English both oral and written
- Self-sufficient, initiative, judgement, discipline and working methods
- Creative spirit, flexibility, teamwork, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize and propose solutions
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs (Excel & PowerPoint)
