Position Overview:
The Bell Residential Services team is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to fulfill the role of Training & Communication Specialist.
The BRS Training & Communication Specialist will be responsible for working cross functionally with the Sales and Marketing teams;
- to create take to market training and communication
- to effectively communicate sales positioning, product and process info
- to ensure excellent delivery and execution on an ongoing basis as well as during critical product launches, and for “testing” knowledge of frontline reps and sales leaders to evaluate compliance and adoption
The successful individual needs to be able to effectively manage relationships across multiple functional areas and business units, have the ability to focus on multiple projects at any given time, and possess a “winning” attitude in order to represent Sales and Marketing both internally as well as with the channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Marketing to understand reason to buy strategies and to effectively translate in to reason to sell opportunities
- Build structured and comprehensive Training & Communication material aligned with different channel needs
- Work with sales channel take-to-market teams as well as channel partners, to ensure thorough understanding of all BRS products and services and evaluate compliance and adoption
- Review existing product training materials and processes, and customize for BRS Sales
- Perform comprehensive needs assessments of existing communication methods, training materials and delivery methods, and challenge status quo
- Develop a communications plan that supports the business strategy and critical success factors.
- Work with channel partners to design, develop, maintain and implement training programs and materials in alignment with business strategies.
- Establish appropriate measurements and metrics which measure communication and training effectiveness and align to the business strategy; articulate timely scorecard results to senior audiences

- Exceptional relationship management, facilitation, coaching and consulting skills
- Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action
- Team player, understanding required synergies between sales, marketing and operations
- Results-oriented, pro-active and strong execution skills within very short timelines
- Quick learner with a commitment to continuous improvements. You strive to stay up-to-date on product information in the fast-paced and rapidly changing consumer communication industry
- Outstanding organization skills – structured and concise – ability to drive different project at the same time.

Preferred Competencies:
- Bilingual (French / English) an asset
- Sales channels (Retail, Field, Direct) knowledge an asset
- University Degree in English, Communications, or Journalism preferred
