Using innovative operational theory, tools and techniques, the Field team ensures that the right technician with the right skill set arrives at our residential and business customer’s premises on time, every time. We are committed to ensure that Bell's network, products and services are of the highest standard. The Field Services team thrives on providing installation and repair services for business and residential customers using the latest technology, including Fibre, Optical Ethernet, IPVPN.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a team of analysts who design, track and interpret key performance indicators and analytical models for strategic business insight, reporting applications and online tools driving operational strategy and productivity;
- Accountable to recommend and establish action plans based on such indicators/models to mitigate risks and optimize channel performance, as well as ensure conformance; Analyze numbers, uncover trends, and draw conclusions based on the findings, and leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions.
- Optimize and maximise resources, and seek out new or improved analytical opportunities resulting in enhanced business efficiency and improved service and performance metrics
- Ensure data integrity. Routinely audit data providers and suggest improvements to methodology to improve data integrity.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the business partners to provide strategic business intelligence support to executives and upper management for strategy discussions, weekly and monthly results
- Work to identify and implement best practices to streamline the processes for managing data and producing ongoing reports/webtools; Provide technical leadership and support for reporting applications and online tools
- Ability to translate the data into an understandable insight and present complex information simply, easily, and clearly; should be able to story-tell with data, form relationships with all key stakeholders and tailor communication styles to specific audience needs
Required Skills/Experience:
- B.S. in operations, engineering, finance, or quantitative discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in modelling and analytics role.
- Proficient with statistics
- Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated application of a wide range of analytical techniques to solve a variety of business problems
- Communication (spoken & written) skills suitable for executive audience
- Deadline driven with excellent project and time management skills
- Flexible and able to tackle duties outside of their usual scope of work when called upon
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience in the development of analytical models
- Experience in web programming languages
- Experience in work force management considered an asset
- Familiar with the Field Operations
- Bilingual, French and English (spoken and written)
Other requirement:
- Must be willing to travel to Toronto-Montreal-Ottawa
