Responsibilities:
The Content Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the database, website and YouTube channel. They are the primary point of contact for application inquiries and work closely with the Grants Administrator to process grant applications from receipt through to final delivery of completed projects. This position reports to the Grants Administrator and Director of Programming, Entertainment Specialty, Bell Media.
• Advise and guide applicants through the application process by providing general program information and answering inquiries
• Process each application, maintain thorough records of applicant information and manage a large portfolio of applicant files
• Process final film deliveries independently and in a timely fashion
• Maintain all online content
• Assist with jury meetings and assemble large application packages for jury members
• Administrative support, as needed
• Special projects as they arise
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Post-secondary degree or diploma, in film or television preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, i.e. Excel and Powerpoint
• Solid grasp of digital and social media, and ability to manage upkeep of online content with little supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure, possess excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
• Knowledge of the independent production community an asset
• Must be passionate about film and television
