Role Description:
Bell Media is seeking a Segmentation Profiling Analyst to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a high level of self-motivation and energy,
an optimistic “can-do” attitude with a proven track record of displaying strong analytical thinking as well as relationship building skills.
In this role, the individual will continuously review the internal metrics of our products and become a subject matter expert on industry developments and trends.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics, the candidate will be responsible for analytics implementation and analysis across various digital broadcast brands,
as well as supporting the team on reporting and ad-hoc requests. The candidate will:
• Leverage Krux, Audience manager, Omniture tags, CMS (Polypoly), etc to capture, build, optimize consumer audience segments across Bell Media assets & platforms
• Interact with Bell.ca, Bell Internet, Bell Mobility, Legal and Privacy legal team, to import / export any data that will assist Bell Media in delivering superior targeting & audience insights to our customers
• Focus efforts on the analysis of all reporting deliverables and unveil insights relevant to all stakeholders in the business
• Identify trends and elements of differentiations versus existing content strategy and competition
• Assist in the analysis of user behavior, operational efficiencies and revenue management
• Provide assistance and training to extended team members to revolutionize analytics into a consulting role rather than a helpdesk
Desired Skills and Experience
• Relevant university degree or college diploma in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statics or equivalent business/technical blended experience
• 3-5 years of experience in either agency or client side analytics/technical position with extensive experience in analytics, research and digital
• Strong analytical background demonstrating an ability to understand segmentation and profiling audiences for revenue management
• In-depth knowledge of channel analytics tools: Adobe SiteCatalyst Cloud – Omniture (e.g. SiteCatalyst, Discover/Ad-hoc Analysis, Tag Manager)
• Technical experience with Audience tagging (preferred)
• In-depth experience of data manipulation/visualization tools: Excel, Access, PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate data into context for various stakeholders
• Bilingualism would be an asset
