The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

 

Position Description:

The Base Marketing team is seeking an innovative, creative and dynamic Senior Manager to lead our Upsell Marketing team.  This leader will manage the subscription based upsell for all of BRS (TV, Internet and Home Phone) and have the opportunity to work on exciting portfolios such as Cravetv, premium movies, sports, usage, speed, long distance, etc.  They will lead a team of specialists as they develop the end to end marketing strategy and execute base marketing and channel programs that deliver sales and revenue growth.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Base Marketing, the ideal candidate has marketing, project management, channel, and analytics experience. In an ever-changing and dynamic environment, they need to be flexible, have strong time management skills and be capable of balancing many projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion.  They are detail oriented, strategic and analytical with the ability to think outside the box.  It’s imperative that the candidate is proactive and continuously seeks to build innovative marketing programs to drive increased ARPU across the BRS customer base. This high performing individual needs to have demonstrated success with influencing and delivering results with cross functional teams. 

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Manage the end to end 4P marketing strategy for TV upsell (Cravetv, premium movies, premium sports, programming),  Internet upsell  (usage, speed, Tech Expert, hardware) and Home Phone upsell (package, long distance and care plans)
  • Develop and flawlessly execute programs and campaigns that drive increased ARPU
  • Manage Affiliate relationships and marketing program / strategy coordination with partners such as Bell Media, Corus, NHL, NFL, SuperChannel, etc
  • Partner with the channel team to drive upsell on inbound customer touch-points
  • Lead the strategy on outbound programs to drive base sales
  • Analyze the customer base and weekly results to provide recommendations that drive growth and intervene on potential risks
  • Weekly review of portfolio results with the BRS executive team
  • Partner with product and marketing teams on new product introductions
  • Quarterly marketing plan development and presentation to the executive team
  • Management and leadership of 5 direct reports

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree in a business discipline with a minimum of  3 years experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to get things done by influence
  • Proven marketing leader with ability to lead multiple programs and manage numerous campaigns simultaneously
  • Strong people leader with ability to motivate a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups including executives
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and generate insight and action
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success in leading large cross functional teams towards one end goal
  • Comfortable working autonomously or as a team member
  • Detail oriented individual with strong time management skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Able to lead teams and guide them to work effectively toward objectives
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
