Position:

National Digital Content Producer

Location:

Bell Media, Toronto, ON

Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
 

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week. Additional hours as required.

 

Responsibilities:

Bell Media is looking for a Content Producer with a passion for all things digital. Our network of stations speak to a wide demographic and need an energetic and versatile champion for all digital projects. As a National DCP, you will be called upon to execute digital initiatives from multiple departments in addition to keeping Social Media channels fresh. You will also have design skills and a creative side that knows how to capture the attention of an audience. A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive on both team and solo projects are a necessity. If you fit the bill, we would love to hear from you.

 

This role is responsible for presenting a digital user experience that is meaningful and engaging to the listeners in collaboration with the various Departments within Bell Media.

 

This includes the following:

  • Create and publish approved programming, promotional and sales content for the radio digital properties
    • Programming – work with multiple stakeholders to execute the overall vision for the digital platforms
    • Promotions – assist with the development of contests, events and other promotional elements, as required.  For example, graphic image elements for contests, newsletters, and promotional events.
    • Sales – Collaborate closely with the digital sales group to produce custom high level advertising solutions that deliver strong ROI
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure branding stays on point and consistent with other initiatives.
  • Producing training documents and offering tutorials both in person and remotely.
  • Populate our radio sites with fresh & updated content.
  • Assist with resolving issues on the various platforms, liaising with different departments to ensure the needs and quality requirements are met.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in graphic/multimedia design
  • Graphic design experience/skill with a hip/contemporary design sensibility
  • Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
  • Experience working with ticket based systems (JIRA)
  • Videographer skills a plus
  • Experience working with various content management systems
  • Demonstrated creativity in engaging users
  • Must possess strong short form feature writing skills
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and has a positive attitude
  • Superior time management skills
  • Must be resourceful
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Attention to detail is extremely important.
  • A genuine love for digital, music, and technology
