Position: Affiliate Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Location: Montreal - 1717 René Levesque East, Mtl
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required
Overview: The Affiliate Marketing team is part of the Content Sales and Distribution Marketing Group – working closely with distribution partners to promote Bell Media’s ENGLISH television brands.Specifically, the Affiliate Marketing team is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and sales initiatives to drive subscribers/revenue of English Pay TV and Speciality Channels with our distribution partners: BDUs and new multi-platform players.
Responsibilities:
Sales Planning / Execution:
• Assist in preparation and execution of account plans
• Assist in preparation, and development of, client presentations
• Support, plan, coordinate and assist at client events e.g. screenings, etc.
• Conduct sales training, demonstrating effective sales skills, while providing an engaging learning environment for all sales agents, including Direct Call Centre agents, Field agents and Retail agents
• Manage a sales / training schedule, including incentive hype/plans, information sessions, best practice advisories, role playing training etc
• Prepare premium merchandise purchase recommendations for review
Sales Coordination:
• Coordinate sourcing of all elements related to all events, including sales training and sales initiatives – premiums, support materials, food, beverages plus any element unique to the event
• Liaise with all departments to coordinate efforts where applicable
• Manage ticket distribution for all events; coordinate invitations and material support requirements as required
• Source premium merchandise based on sales requirements, brand strategies and budget restrictions and manage inventory
Sales Administration:
• Prepare purchase orders in a timely fashion
• Code and process all departmental invoices for payment in APSS
• Track spending through purchase orders raised and invoices paid to provide consistently updated YTD departmental spending
• Provide support to the Director, Affiliate Sales and Marketing
• Maintain up-to-date campaign binders and annual planning binders
• Maintain the Affiliate Sales and Marketing common drive: review and clean up drive as required
Other:
• Practice excellent team behavior; communicate and work positively, supportively and effectively, with Bell Media Affiliate Sales and Marketing teams
• Stay up to date on overall affiliate and brand objectives
Qualifications:
• 2 to 3 years of marketing and project management experience
• University/College education in marketing or related field is an asset
• Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills, specifically the ability to foster effective cross-functional working teams to deliver results
• Traditional sales and marketing management and marketing research background are assets
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking management skills
• Excellent French and English communication skills (verbal, listening, written)
• Strong presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with a track record of follow through and delivery
• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
