The Radio division of Bell Mobility operates in the management of networks offered to Public Safety/Public Service and Industrial/Commercial Organizations. This kind of work is very diversified and requires autonomy on the part of employees, as much in the development of skills as in the organization of the work. The Radio division calls upon its employees to be implicated and engaged to a superior quality of service and promptness demanded by its customers.

 

 The successful candidate will report to the manager of technical services - Radio division. The main duties are to repair user equipment on the road / shop repair, to be able to install telecom equipment in vehicle, and to take part in rotational tours of duty to respond to urgent calls outside of normal working hours.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Accomplish repair on user and network equipment (Shop repair)
  • Accomplish repair on Telecommunication equipment on the road
  • Accomplish installation of telecom equipment in vehicle.
  • Trouble ticket management (Update and completion)
  • Special assembly work (Shop repair)
  • Documentation

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Student in Electronics or Telecommunications

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Understand radio communications network - Trunking / Conventional
  • Computer skills, Information Systems
  • Telecommunication experience
  • Computer/IS experience
  • Field repair experience
  • Shop repair experience

 

Additional Information:

  • Good manual skill, self-sufficient, team work abilities
  • Day shift (08:00hrs - 16:30hrs)
