Name and description of the hiring department:
The ADI Group is part of the Network Provisioning team sees the deployment of the outside network with work plans and engineering specifications in order to serve our customers with advanced technology.
Upon receipt of the plans and specifications, the work of the network administration assistant is to analyze these, trace the specific information to customers and equipment to update the various databases.
Job duties/Accountabilities:
- Manage databases and update the specific components of the access network.
- Aanalyze work plans or other specifications.
- Ensure the feasibility of the application (equipment capacity, customer addresses, etc.).
- Ensure the integrity of the various databases.
- Establish and maintain records of specialized equipment.
- Set the differences between the systems to ensure quality service to customers.
- Update systems completed projects.
- Manage, prioritize and process applications to meet deadlines to meet customers dates.
- Contact various stakeholders to obtain the required data.
- Treat unusual and complex situations.
- Gather the necessary information and issue solutions.
- Ensure rigorous monitoring and tight requests daily.
- Participate in and / or endorse, improved methods and / or work processes.
- Ensure quality in all aspects of work.
- Adapting to frequent changing priorities.
- Answer questions from internal and external stakeholders.
- Detect and correct simple and complex anomalies.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge and computer skills.
- Knowledge of common software: Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate).
- Good judgment to anticipate and solve problems and take the risks that are necessary.

- French: (read, spoken, written) fluent in the language with no significant limitation.
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Having already worked with databases (data entry).
- Knowledge of telecommunications networks and telephony.
- Knowledge of the following systems: IPAIRE, Access, SAP50 & BCRIS.
- Make links between different systems (ipairs, Access, etc.).
- English: (read, spoken, written) working ability to carry out normal business in the language, would be an asset.
