Name and description of the hiring department:


SMB Sales team report to the Bell Business Markets Sales organization.  These groups offer Business solutions to small and medium business.  The Internal Sales representative role is a new job following the reorganization in the sales groups.


Job Duties / Accountabilities:

 

  • Accountability for acquisition, optimization of EBITDA, retention and growth of Bell Canada’s revenue base from existing mid market customers.
  • Single point of sales contact for customer base.
  • Responsible for the customer sales relationship/ accounts for his/ her client base including decisions and activities with the virtual team.
  • Offers full MID market suite of products and services including customization of mid market level solution.
  • Is accountable for the development of integrated and profitable solution-based sales.
  • Business level understanding of emerging technologies and communicates its strategic impact to the client.
  • Presents moderately complex technical IT solutions to a non-technical audience predominantly over the phone, or in a face to face conversation if required.
  • Develops and implements winning account strategies.
  • Respond to moderately complex RFP’s, writes proposals; negotiates and presents contracts.
  • Creates Targeted Account Selling (TAS) including relevant competitor information and relationships maps during qualification process and load into GoSee (CRM).
  • Developing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to provide compelling financial rationales for a Bell solution.
  • Track and report on personal activities, funnel input, and closed business on a daily / weekly basis.
  • Assist in the coordination of the efforts of internal and external partners.
  • Accountable for the completion of the SOX checklist to aid in ensuring compliancy.
  • This positions reports directly to a Sales manager.

 

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

 

  • French (555) fluent in the language with no significant limitation
  • English 333 working ability to carry out normal business in the language.
  • Business acumen, understanding of business processes and financial acumen.
  • Moderate to basic technical in, internetworking and connectivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English.
  • Sales experience.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Capacity to coordinate team members in the context of pre-sales activities.
  • Capacity to explain moderately complex IS/IT solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Capacity to develop winning account strategies and implement them with success.


Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

 

  • Basic knowledge of Bell ICT and other Alliance products and services.
  • Bachelor in business or related field and 3-5 years of sales experience in IS/IT industry or combination of relevant college education and/or experience can be considered.
  • Demonstrated successful results in selling several IP, IT and Connectivity solutions.
  • Demonstrated successful sales results over the past 24 months.
