The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

The Role:

 

As a key member of the Residential Marketing Team, the Specialist, Acquisition Marketing role is responsible for maximizing revenue from acquisition offers.  

 

The candidate will be responsible for setting the strategy on Bundle Mix of new activations, managing compliance of existing promotional offer usage and maximizing upsell growth to new customer. These responsibilities will be managed across all channels in Atlantic Canada. The candidate will liaise with the Sales Channels and Pricing Team to ensure the appropriate offers are adhered to and that training and communication to the channels is in place. 

 

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, results oriented team player who demonstrates Bell Aliant’s Values.  He/she also has a keen eye for detail, is confident working independently and is comfortable with ambiguity, new challenges and hard deadlines.  He/she is someone who can translate data and strategy into execution.  This individual has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead cross functional teams to achieving superior results.  They will be able to interface with leaders outside of the marketing organization. 

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Acquisition and Base Marketing- Atlantic. the successful applicant will be responsible for driving growth in revenue through adherence to pricing strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead extended teams in ensuring the proper compliance to pricing offers. 
  • Using a combination of your collaborative, analytical and creative skills will enable the organization to maximize revenue potential among new customers.
  • Execute and monitor marketing programs – including forecasting models and post-program analysis.
  • A high level of collaboration with Product/Pricing Management, Sales Channels and Marketing Implementation teams.
  • Coordinate, track and have accountability of overall new customer promotion offer adherence.

 

Critical Competencies:

 

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, or equivalent with marketing experience.  A Masters degree would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of sales data systems and the ability to run queries would also be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead a project team and manage multiple projects.
  • Financial & Business Case acumen - knowledge and experience of budgets and financial forecasting and the ability to interpret financial information and understand implications.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of PC software and spreadsheets is a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
