An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services customers. Our  Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.

 

The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of super-phones on the fastest and most advanced network technology, under the Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile brands. The BI Campaign Insights and Analytics team is seeking a dynamic, innovative and strategic database marketing specialist to define, develop and execute targeted campaigns to drive acquisition and increase loyalty/ retention.

 

Reporting directly to BI Campaign Insights Lead, the ideal candidate is an experienced database marketer, with direct marketing and channel experience. They need to be capable of interpreting results and data to generate insight and formulating concepts and campaigns to deliver results. They are strategic and analytical with the ability to think outside the box and drive new unique approaches. 

 

It’s imperative that the candidate is proactive and continuously seeking new opportunities to improve targeting to drive increased loyalty/ retention, and enhanced client experience with a keen focus on performance measurement. The high performing individual needs to have demonstrated success with influencing and delivering results with cross functional business units.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret marketing and customer data to identify new opportunities on how to best target and appeal to customers.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign activities which will include briefing, creative reviews, reporting, etc.
  • Define, develop, and execute targeted campaigns to accelerate wireless, reduce churn and grow revenue.
  • Work cross-functionally with market insight teams, product, pricing, marketing communications, channel and IT to develop and execute campaigns end to end
  • Identify and define targeting strategies enabling new opportunities to drive wireless acquisition.
  • Work hand in hand with product and pricing teams to create attractive, relevant and cost effective offers.
  • Actively contribute to the overall marketing planning cycle.
  • Data analysis – Analyze data to provide insight for opportunities for campaigns
  • Data mining– Ability to retrieve data and identify data errors/gaps in the data sources
  • Campaign management – Provide list extraction for campaign targeting of marketing programs, particularly the use of control groups and related post-analysis.
  • Data development – Migration of customer data between systems and working with IT teams to evolve database development.
  • Reporting – Generate automated and ad hoc reporting for key CRM metrics.
  • Automate recurring processes.
  • Effectively communicate and present results to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business, third party and IT staff on complex data delivery solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years of experience in a database marketing/ analytics/ CRM role.
  • Experience with IBM Campaign (Unica) or alternative campaign automation solution.
  • Background with Data Management, Business Intelligence, Reporting Tools and Design (Tableau, Microstrategy would be preferred).
  • Direct/target marketing experience required including campaign list creation, understanding of Do Not Call and Contact Strategy processes.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate insight and action
  • Experience and understanding of the marketing planning lifecycle and key business units such as product, pricing and marketing communications.
  • Highly organized with the proven ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with the ability to get things done by influence.
  • Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box when developing concepts, approach and offers.
  • Post Secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Mathematics
  • Solid problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
  • Detailed oriented and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Previous work in the Telecom industry would be an asset
  • Experience using SQL would be preferred.
  • HTML competencies in the support of email development
  • Inbound marketing experience leveraging tools such as Interact and Epiphany
  • Familiar with project managements practices and principle
