Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.

 

The infrastructure service team is responsible for the provisioning activities related to the resale of equipment and maintenance services to the Bell Business Market customers.  We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated manager with a proven track record to support our internal and external partner teams. 

 

The ideal candidate is someone who focuses on results and has strong analytical skills. He or she will be responsible for the operational support to external vendors, suppliers and the coordination of efforts between these partners and Bell internal teams to deliver increased revenues and margin. The incumbent will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with our customers and sales partners. The ideal candidate is also very knowledgeable of supply chain and distribution processes.

 

JOB DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
  • Operational support to external vendors, suppliers and internal sales teams
  • Coordinate post sales activities to ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Identify gaps In processes and create and implement action/corrective plan
  • Customized manual reporting based on contractual obligations
  • Produce scorecard to identify current status and future forecast
  • Manage external vendor operational SLA`s
  • Manage COGS  
  • Review and Approve vendor invoices
  • Manage Multiyear annual deals
  • Manage Vendor Disputes/Credits

 

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrated and proven analytical, organizational and planning skills combined with strategic thinking
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with a passion for results
  • Capacity to make decisions and assume responsibility over projects
  • Ability to motivate others and promote team spirit
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing requirements
  • Ability to act as a catalyst for change and ensure continuous improvement
  • Independent worker who takes ownership of tasks
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel
  • Bilingualism (French and English)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of related processes: finance, accounts payable
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experience in a unionised environment
  • Knowledge of  Bell’s Infrastructure Services Outright sales - products, services, systems and processes
  • Knowledge of Cisco tools, processes and policies
