Position: Marketing Coordinator, CraveTV
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
As part of the Pay TV Marketing team, this position is responsible for the execution of consumer marketing activity for CraveTV. Reporting to the Marketing Specialist, this position contributes to the development and execution of consumer advertising, promotions and cross-business marketing programs.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Support the development and communication of marketing plans and briefs for the internal Creative, Media and Cross-Functional team.
- Maintain on-air promo optimization to ensure properties are supported effectively.
- Develop marketing content and editorial for CraveTV digital platforms.
- Communicate marketing priorities to key stakeholders.
- Liaise between departments to successfully execute coordinated and cohesive marketing initiatives.
- Support the Affiliate Marketing team with materials for new affiliate partners.
- Interface with internal and external partners.
- Source and analyse research and insights for marketing plans and reports.
- Produce presentations and reports.
- Process invoices and maintain Budget Control Report.
- Assist with coordination and execution of live events.
- Update and distribute status reports.
- Maintain database of campaign elements and brand related material.
- Monitor, record and analyse competitive initiatives.
- This role has a dotted line to the Senior Director, Marketing, Entertainment and News brands.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- University/post-secondary education required, with emphasis on Marketing preferred.
- Professional, creative, resourceful and action-oriented.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Actively engaged in social media platforms and able to identify opportunities for Marketing applications.
- Understanding of research methods and applications.
- Creative writing skills considered a valuable asset.
