Includes corporate and operational finance, internal teams support, the controllers group, internal audit and risk advisory services, taxation, treasury, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
BCE’s Corporate accounting group forms part of the overall corporate finance team reporting to the controller and CFO. The corporate accounting group’s main responsibilities are the development and monitoring of accounting policies, external reporting, and consolidation of results and coordination with subsidiaries and parent company, and the overall integrity of results.
Job Accountabilities:
- Consolidation of BCE financial statements
- Perform review and analysis of monthly results
- Overall integrity of consolidated results and related intercompany transactions/balances
- Supporting and assisting external reporting team including the preparation of the annual report
- Preparation of various financial statements
- Provide support to external audit team
- Support on the calculation of complex transactions
- Provide accounting support to various business divisions
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Strong knowledge of consolidation accounting
- Bilingual
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Team player, dynamic and self-sufficient
- Ability to work with virtual teams
Preferred Competencies:
- Knowledge of the Hyperion Enterprise consolidation system & SAP
