Salary:

Commissions  sales (Commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Hours of Work:

Overtime on weekends and evenings as required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Selling Marketing and Business Growth Solutions to retail businesses and advertising agencies within a highly competitive marketplace.
  • Seeking out, selling and providing outstanding service to new advertising clients, focusing on establishing long term client relationships.
  • Creating and selling strategic, integrated sales proposals with appropriate research data, marketing and web components, for a large variety of accounts.
  • Utilizing a customer focused sales process to achieve client’s goals.
  • Effectively working with and through others to achieve goals.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, peers and managers.
  • Continually meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Regular administration and effective management of client accounts.
  • Other duties as required.

 

 

Qualifications:

This position demands individual initiative, creativity and persistence in “getting the job done”. The successful candidate is:

  • An effective networker, knowledgeable and up-to date on sales trends within the broadcasting industry with 7 years of sales experience with a proven track record of outstanding sales results in media field or related experience.
  • Willing to thrive in new business development situations by way of excellent prospecting, consultative selling, and proven closing skills.
  • Someone who understands, believes in, and demonstrates an ability to clearly convey the difference between price and value.
  • An independent worker who takes his/her responsibilities seriously and is accountable for his/her agreed upon goals in a team environment.
  • Demonstrating high energy, enthusiasm, motivation and confidence.
  • Fluently bilingual (English & French).
  • Excellent at communication, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with the use of computer, including Microsoft Office.
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Available to work on weekends and evenings as required.
